Q: Performance of thrust roller bearings.
A: Thrust roller bearings mainly bear axial loads, and the roller surface and the raceway surface of the ring are in line contact, so this type of bearing has a greater axial load capacity than thrust ball bearings. Thrust roller bearings are generally used in heavy machinery, such as oil drilling equipment, port cranes, vertical lift gates, combined tunneling machines, etc. The structure of thrust roller bearings is classified according to the shape of the rollers, including:
Thrust cylindrical roller bearings 80000, see Figure 1.
During the rotation of thrust cylindrical roller bearings, the rollers have the same angular velocity, but the inner end has a smaller linear velocity than the outer end, and there is a tendency to slip, so the limit speed of this type of bearing is low.
Thrust tapered roller bearings 90000, see Figure 2. Suitable for occasions with higher speeds. Thrust spherical roller bearings 29000, see Figure 3. Can withstand a certain radial load and have spherical performance. Thrust spherical symmetrical roller bearing type 69000, see Figure 4. It has a lower load capacity than type 29000 and is suitable for occasions with higher speeds.
