Q: How to assemble the inner ring and roller cage assembly of a double-row tapered roller bearing?
A: 1. Insert the roller into the cage with the small diameter facing downward. A support ring can be used to prevent the roller from falling out again. See Figure 1.
2. Place the inner ring into the roller cage assembly while rotating all parts. See Figures 2 and 3.
3. Use your hands to clamp the roller cage assembly onto the outer rib. For larger bearings, the required force may be great, so you need to use a screwdriver.
